BIORONs Agarose is a polysaccharide used for electrophoretic separation of nucleic acids, that features rapid gelling, excellent transparency, low background staining and sharp defined bands. The Molecular Biology Grade is ideal for effective blotting or separation of DNA or RNA fragments from 250 bp to 23 kb. It can be used in a range from 0.5 to 5 % with all common electrophoretic buffers but shows best gel strength in a concentration from 0.75 to 2 %.
- Gel Strength (1.5 %): ≥ 2.000 g/cm2
- Gelling temperature (1.5 %): 36.0 ± 1.5 °C
- Melting temperature (1.5 %): 88.0 ± 1.5 °C
- Sulfate: ≤ 0.15 %
- Ash: ≤ 0.45 %
- No DNAse and RNase activity
