Description
SuperTaq DNA Polymerase, 5 U/ µl is a recombinant Taq DNA polymerase designed for highly specific and reliable PCR amplification. The enzyme efficiently amplifies DNA fragments up to 5 kb and delivers excellent performance with complex genomic DNA, cDNA templates, low copy targets, multiplex PCR, and real-time PCR applications.
SuperTaq DNA Polymerase possesses a robust 5’→3’ polymerase activity and generates PCR products with 3’-A overhangs, making the enzyme suitable for standard TA cloning workflows. Optimized enzyme formulation and buffer chemistry minimize unspecific amplification and primer-dimer formation, resulting in clean and reproducible PCR products.
For maximum flexibility in assay optimization, the polymerase is supplied with three different 10x reaction buffers:
- Incomplete NH4 buffer (without MgCl2)
- Complete NH4 buffer
- Complete KCl buffer
Additional MgCl2 solution is included to allow individual adjustment of magnesium concentration according to specific assay requirements.
A HotStart variant blocked with antibody technology is available as SuperHotTaq DNA Polymerase, providing enhanced specificity and convenient reaction setup at room temperature.
