SuperHot Master Mix is a ready-to-use 2x PCR master mix for highly specific PCR amplification of genomic DNA, cDNA, low-copy targets, and challenging templates. The optimized formulation contains BIORON’s antibody-based SuperHotTaq DNA Polymerase, dNTPs, MgCl₂, and reaction buffer, providing maximum convenience and reproducible PCR performance.
The integrated HotStart technology blocks polymerase activity during reaction setup at ambient temperatures, preventing non-specific amplification and primer-dimer formation. Upon initial heating, the antibody is irreversibly inactivated, allowing efficient and highly specific PCR amplification. This enables convenient room-temperature reaction setup while improving assay sensitivity and specificity.
SuperHot Master Mix is optimized for PCR amplification of complex genomic DNA, cDNA, GC-rich templates, low-copy targets, multiplex PCR, and real-time PCR applications. The optimized buffer system supports robust amplification of DNA fragments up to 5 kb while maintaining excellent product specificity and yield.
Because all PCR components are pre-mixed, only primers and template DNA need to be added. This reduces pipetting steps, minimizes contamination risk, and improves reproducibility between reactions, making the mix ideal for routine PCR, molecular diagnostics research, and high-throughput laboratory workflows.
SuperHot Master Mix is designed for ice-free handling and supports fast PCR protocols with excellent sensitivity and reproducibility. The formulation remains stable for up to 14 days at room temperature, simplifying storage, shipping, and daily laboratory use.
