Description

Rons RNase BeGone – Human RNase Inhibitor is an improved engineered recombinant human ribonuclease inhibitor designed to protect RNA from degradation caused by endogenous and environmental RNases during RNA handling, reverse transcription, cDNA synthesis, and other RNA-based workflows. The modified human placenta-derived protein provides broad-spectrum inhibition of eukaryotic RNases, including RNases A, B, and C, ensuring maximum RNA integrity and reliability in downstream molecular biology applications.

With a molecular weight of approximately 50 kDa, Rons RNase BeGone – Human RNase Inhibitor is recombinantly expressed in *E. coli*, enabling consistent high-quality production without the risk of contamination from human-derived materials. The inhibitor forms stable complexes with RNases, effectively preventing RNA degradation while remaining fully compatible with enzymatic reactions. Rons RNase BeGone – Human RNase Inhibitor does not interfere with RNases H, 1, T1, S1 nuclease, or RNA polymerases such as SP6, T7, and T3. In addition, it is fully compatible with AMV Reverse Transcriptase, M-MLV Reverse Transcriptase, and Taq DNA Polymerase, making it ideal for a wide range of molecular biology workflows.

Engineered for superior performance, Rons RNase BeGone – Human RNase Inhibitor offers unmatched resistance to oxidation and exceptional thermal stability. It remains active at temperatures up to 60 °C and is stable at room temperature for up to 8 weeks. Unlike conventional RNase inhibitors, Rons RNase BeGone – Human RNase Inhibitor maintains activity even without DTT and withstands multiple freeze–thaw cycles, ensuring consistent and reliable results under challenging experimental conditions.

Rons RNase BeGone – Human RNase Inhibitor is supplied at a concentration of 40 U/µl. One unit is defined as the amount required to inhibit 50% of the activity of 5 ng RNase A. A recommended working concentration of 0.5 U/µl per reaction ensures optimal RNA protection. For enhanced stability in certain applications, the addition of 1 mM DTT may be beneficial.

Optimized for demanding RNA workflows, Rons RNase BeGone – Human RNase Inhibitor is ideal for applications such as RNA isolation and purification, first-strand cDNA synthesis, one-step RT-PCR, one-step RT-qPCR, direct RT-PCR, gene expression analysis, and RNA structural and functional studies. Its robustness at elevated temperatures makes it particularly suitable for direct RT-PCR applications, improving yield and sensitivity.

For optimal RNA protection, Rons RNase BeGone – Human RNase Inhibitor should be added early during reaction setup before introducing components that may contain RNase contamination.

Rons RNase BeGone – Human RNase Inhibitor is stored at -18 °C to -25 °C for long-term stability. Glycerol-free formulations are available upon request.
