Rons Tissue & Blood DNA Mini Kit is designed for fast, reliable and high-yield purification of genomic DNA from a wide variety of biological samples. The kit enables efficient DNA extraction from animal and human tissues, whole blood, blood samples with anticoagulants, cultured cells and numerous challenging sample types.
The purification procedure is based on silica spin column technology and an optimized buffer system for efficient cell lysis, DNA binding, washing and elution. Genomic DNA is selectively adsorbed to the silica membrane while proteins, lipids and other contaminants are efficiently removed during the washing process. The purified DNA is directly eluted in a low-salt buffer and is immediately suitable for downstream molecular biology applications.
The kit has been successfully validated with a broad range of sample materials, including muscle, brain, heart, liver, kidney and lung tissues, mouse tails, blood samples, cultured cells, mollusks, worms and other biological specimens. Fresh, frozen, alcohol-preserved and paraffin-embedded samples can be processed with high efficiency and reproducible results.
Rons Tissue & Blood DNA Mini Kit combines rapid processing, simple handling and excellent DNA recovery. Genomic DNA fragments up to 60 kb can be isolated and used for PCR, qPCR, sequencing, cloning, genotyping, restriction analysis, hybridization assays and NGS library preparation.
