Description

The RealLine Anaplasma / Ehrlichia kits are designed for sensitive detection of Anaplasma phagocytophilium and of Ehrlichia muris and Ehrlichia chaffensis from ticks or human samples by real time PCR. The results of PCR analysis are taken into account in complex diagnostics of disease.

Ehrlichiosis or human granulocytic anaplasmosis are diseases which can be caused by Anaplasma phagocytophilum,Ehrlichia chaffensis or Ehrlichia muris. Humans and other mammals are infected by bites of ticks. If the disease is symptomatic it can come to flue-like symptoms up to serious symptoms like Meningoencephalitis especially in immunosupressed patients.

For optimal results please always use the RealLine Internal Control. In case you do not use RealLine Extraction kits, order RealLine Internal Control (REF VBC8881-R) seperately.
