50 bp DNA Ladder is a DNA size marker for accurate sizing of double-stranded DNA fragments from 50 bp to 1000 bp during agarose gel electrophoresis. The ladder consists of 14 blunt-ended DNA fragments and is optimized for routine DNA fragment analysis, PCR product verification, and cloning workflows.

For easy orientation on the gel, the 250 bp and 500 bp bands are supplied at increased intensity, allowing rapid identification of fragment sizes. The ladder provides a clear and evenly distributed band pattern across the entire size range, making it suitable for the analysis of small PCR amplicons and other DNA fragments.

The product is supplied in storage buffer without added loading dye or nucleic acid stain, providing maximum flexibility for use with different gel staining methods and electrophoresis protocols. For optimal visualization, a DNA stain should be added to both the ladder and loading buffer prior to gel loading.
