AntiTaq DNA Polymerase monoclonal antibodies 2 mg/ml are used for blocking Taq DNA Polymerases at low temperatures for improved sensitivity, specificity and stability of the polymerase. Also higher product yield can be achieved during PCR. Antibodies are derived from a hybridoma cell line and are mouse IgG type.
Best ratio between Taq DNA Polymerase and AntiTaq DNA Polymerase should be found empirically. AntiTaq antibodies are also available without glycerol and can therefore be used for lyophilization.
