Single Cell WGA Kit is used for efficient analysis of single cells with one lysis step and one amplification step in Whole Genome Amplification. It is an improved version of One Step WGA Kit. The Kit is using MDA (Multiple Displacement Amplification and covers about 60% of the human genome. In combination with other available WGA kits a coverage of 80% can be achieved. Especially GC-rich regions and difficult targets can be amplified. With a fast and easy protocol and ready-to-use buffers up to 9 kb fragment length can be amplified in less than 3 hours.
Single Cell WGA Kit can be used with most common cell types like blastomere, single cells from culture lines, sperm cells or polar bodies.
Fragements generated with Single Cell WGA Kit can be amplified or analysed by various techniques like qPCR, NGS or Sanger Sequencing, genetic screening or diagnosis (PGS/PGD), cancer research, forensic analysis or SNP genotyping.
