Klen SNPase DNA Polymerase 25 U/µl is an optimized version of Taq DNA Polymerase. A mutation in active site leads to higher specifity and higher precision with low mutation rate. Klen SNPase has 5′-3′ polymerase activity only, but realtive mutation rate is 10-15 fold lower compared to Taq DNA Polymerase. Recommended for SNP Genotyping, DNA Sequencing and Minisequencing. For HotStart Applications antibody blocked SNPase HotStart DNA Polymerase can be used.
Klen SNPase DNA Polymerase is supplied with 5x PCR buffer and additional MgCl2 for universal application on customers side.
