HotRox Master Mix with a low concentration of ROX dye contains all necessary components for PCR: polymerase, magnesium salts, dNTPs, water and optimized reaction buffer. Only primer and template have to be added by the user. This liquid Master Mix is 2x concentrated and has to be stored at -20 °C. Working with Master Mixes saves time, reduces the risk of contamination and simplifies the entire workflow. With this Master Mix fragments up to 5 kb can be amplified.
ROX dye is used as a passive reference dye to normalize the fluorescent signal and therefore improves the precision of PCR results. This Master Mix contains ROX with a low concentration of 0.1 µM. Therefore it is compatible with instruments like ABI 7500™; Agilent™ Mx3000, MX3005P,
Mx4000 and QuantStudio™.
This product is also available as HotRox Master Mix with higher ROX concentration.
Supplied with PCR water and additional MgCl2.
