Uracil-DNA Glycosylase (UDG) catalyzes the release of free uracil from uracil-containing DNA. UDG efficiently hydrolyzes uracil from single-stranded or double-stranded DNA, but not from oligomers (6 or less bases). UDG was purified from E.coli and is free of endo- and exonucleases.
Supplied as solution with a concentration of 10 U/µl and 10x UDG Reaction Buffer.
