Description:
DF-Pfu DNA polymerase is a thermostable enzyme isolated from Pyrococcus furiousus. The enzyme replicates DNA at 75oC, catalyzing the polymerisation of nucleotides into duplex DNA in the 5´--> 3´direction. DF-Pfu DNA Polymerase possesses 3' --> 5' exonuclease (proofreading) activity. Nucleotide misinsertions that may occur during polymerization are rapidly excised by the proofreading activity of the polymerase. DF-Pfu DNA Polymerase is recommended for use in PCR and primer extension reactions that require high fidelity synthesis. DF-Pfu DNA Polymerase - generated PCR fragments are blunt - ended.

Storage buffer:
50 mM TrisHCl (pH 8,2), 0.1 mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 0,1% Nonidet P40, 0,1% Tween-20, 50% glycerol.
Supplied Reaction Buffers (10x):
- Dilution buffer: 50 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8,2), 0.1 mM EDTA, 1mM DTT, 0,1% Nonidet P40, 0,1% Tween-20, 50% glycerol.
- Complete: 200 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.8 at 25° C), 100 mM KCl, 100 mM (NH4)2SO4, 20 mM MgSO41,0% Triton X-100
- Incomplete: 200 mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.8 at 25° C), 100 mM KCl, 100 mM (NH4)2SO4, 1,0% Triton X-100; supplied with 1 ml of 25 mM MgSO4 separately packed.
