The polycarbonate capillaries are a complete new development that can be used like the original Roche capillaries without or only minor changes in your PCR-protocol. The capillaries are shipped together with caps and a carousel optimised for the polycarbonate capillaries fitting in all LightCyclers.
Customer reports show, that the sensitivity with our capillaries is at least as high as with the original Roche capillaries.
The plastic capillaries are a convenient alternative for glass capillaries.
