Datasheet: Tli-inorganic Pyrophosphatase
Source:
Isolated from E. Coli strain that carries the cloned Inorganic Pyrophosphatase gene from Thermococcus litoralis.
Concentration:
1000 units/ml.
Description:
Enzyme catalyzes the hydrolysis of inorganic pyrophosphatase to form orthophosphatase: P2O7-4 + H2O --> 2 HPO4-2 .
Enzyme is extremely thermostable.
Storage buffer:
20 mM Tris-HCL (pH 7.6), 100 mM KCl, 0,1 mM EDTA, 0,2% Tween-20, 50 % glycerol.
Storage condition:
store at -20°C.
Unit Definition:
One unit is the amount of enzyme that will generate 40 nmoles of phosphate per minute from pyrophosphate under standard reaction conditions (50 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.5; 1 mM MgCl2, 0.32 mM PPi) at 75°C.
Delivered with:
Reaction Buffer: (x10) : 500 mM Tris-HCL, (pH 8.5), 10 mM MgCl2.
