Datasheet: UDG
Description:
E. coli uracil-DNA glycosylase (UDG) catalyzes the release of free uracil from uracil-containing DNA. UDG efficiently hydrolyzes uracil from single-stranded or double-stranded DNA, but not from oligomers (6 or less bases).
Concentration:
20 000 - 40 000 units/ml
Storage buffer: 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, 50 mM NaCl, 0.1 mM EDTA, 50% glycerol
Unit definition:
One unit of activity is the amount of enzyme required to release 60 pmol of uracil per minute from double-stranded, uracil-containing DNA.
Reaction buffer (x1):
20 mM TrisHCl pH 8,0, 1 mM EDTA
Storage conditions:
-20oC
