Applications
These DNA-Standards a prepared for a control reaction for PCR using real-time PCR technique  to create a standard curve for quantification experiments, i.e. with Mycoplasma pneumoniae Diagnostic test-system for real-time PCR from Bioron. The DNA standards can be used for the control to confirm PCR system performance using a real-time PCR cycler.

PCR Quantification Standards
The quantification standard is genomic DNA extracted from low passage and defined mycoplasma or legionella cultivated in liquid medium  The extraction has been done by column absorption methods and the DNA was purified standard extraction and precipitation methods. With the qPCR technology, the DNA standard is tritrated with a defined concentration of genome copies and is used as calibrator to create standard curves.
The products can be used to determine the DNA concentration of unknown samples.

Quality assay:
by photometer and rtPCR, adjusted with stabilzer

Components:
- Standard DNA, 100 µl (approx. 110 genomes/µl.)
- DNA free water
